Garmin Malaysia welcomed 12,000 driven and enthusiastic runners across the nation for its third year of Garmin Run Asia Series. The annual race, themed ‘From Zero to Hero’, aims to encourage and motivate Malaysians to maintain an active lifestyle and beat their limits through three running categories, 5km, 10km and 21km.
The run started off with a dynamic atmosphere, with energetic runners gathering for a lively Zumba warmup session that built excitement before the run began. The ‘From Zero to Hero’ theme resonated throughout the day, as participants geared up to push their boundaries in their respective categories.
“We are thrilled to celebrate yet another successful year in Malaysia with the Garmin Run Asia Series, a testament of the incredible passion and dedication Malaysians have for health and fitness. It is a true honour to be a part of the community in Malaysia, supporting each runner’s journey with Garmin’s technology and inspiring a healthier community. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support year after year which fuels our commitment to provide more opportunities for the local community,” shared Mr Jimmy Chuang, Country Manager, Garmin Malaysia.
Malaysian celebrity and Garmin’s outdoor ambassador, Alif Satar flagged off and participated in the 10km run category, cheering on his fellow runners and fans in their efforts to go ‘From Zero to Hero’.
“Every year, I am truly inspired by the dedication and commitment that my fellow Malaysians show in their pursuit of a healthier life at the Garmin Run Asia Series 2024.
