Casio Exilim FR100 makes sweaty shots look good

Who says sweat and a vain selfie don’t work together? Personal trainer Karen Siah who recently turned into a competitive Ironman brought out her Casio Exilim FR100 to play.

While preparing for the race, spirits at Putrajaya were riding high despite the blistering heat, all captured by Karen with her trusty outdoor camera —

The very sassy triathlete got ready for Team TIME during the 2016 Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya just last weekend. Nope, she didn’t do the full Ironman race this time but unlike most of us who needs to really think this through, she hopped onto Team TIME for the Women’s Team Relay with only less than a week to the race date!

Together racing in the relay team was top female triathlete Sue Teoh, who did the swimming and Lini Kazim who cycled. As for the sheer leg power, it was Karen who did 21.6km in 1:51. These super girls as expected, won the race!

Three coaches got together to race for TIME, and won: 1.9 km swim (0:32) / 90km bike (2:49) / 21km run (1:50). Total time: 5:17

This is also Karen’s second consecutive year of winning the relay category, but this year’s run is significantly more difficult due to the scorching sun and the merciless heat. It was recorded at 35°C that Sunday and the run was tormenting. So, kudos Karen!
