Thule Adventure Team has been ranked as the second best team for a long time but after winning the world championships in Costa Rica in December , Thule is back in the lead closely followed by Team Seagate and team Columbia Vidaraid.

The Adventure Racing World ranking system is based on a team’s ranking in the past two years’ results during the Adventure Racing World Series. The ranking is an ongoing comparison between teams from completed competitions that are part of the World Series, where the ranking is updated with a 4-6 month period.
