East Coast Park turned into an intense battleground for regional endurance sports on 13 September 2026, as the TRIFACTOR Asian Championship 2026 welcomed more than 2,000 athletes hailing from 47 nations. Serving as the official finale for the 2025/2026 TRIFACTOR Asia season, the event brought together top-tier contenders who earned their slots through qualifying races across the continent.

Course Record Shattered in Men’s Elite

Switzerland’s Mateo Reddy delivered a masterclass performance in the Men’s Elite Standard Distance, storming across the line in 1 hour, 54 minutes, and 8 seconds to establish a brand-new course record.

The podium featured strong Southeast Asian representation, with Filipino contenders Irienold Reig Jr (1:57:14) and Matthew Justine Hermosa (1:59:02) taking second and third places respectively.

Podium Finish for Malaysia’s Cindy Sui in Women’s Elite

The Women’s Elite Standard Distance race saw Great Britain’s Emily Sambrook Smith capture the title with an authoritative time of 2:11:20.

Malaysia’s national athlete Cindy Sui put on a memorable showcase for Malaysian endurance sports, grinding through the heat to secure second place in 2:14:57. The Philippines’ Sam Corpuz rounded out the top three, claiming bronze in 2:20:41.

The championship weekend delivered a complete multisport ecosystem, supported by key event partners including Rokeby Protein – who powered the post-race Recovery Zone – alongside Starbalm, YEOS, and LevelUP.

Reflecting on the milestone turnout, Joseph Tan, Race Director and Co-founder of TriFactor, highlighted the rising standards across the region:

As the global TriFactor community expands, Singapore continues to serve as a pivotal anchor on the TriFactor Asia Tour. Parent company Orange Room announced major upcoming developments for multisport enthusiasts across the region:

• TriFactor World Championship (Quzhou, China): Returning this October after a six-year hiatus.
• TriFactor Taiwan (Tainan): Inaugural expansion event scheduled for 15–16 November 2026.
