Test of Will 2018: 14-15.04.2018

Test of Will 2018 will take place across Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand in April and May 2018, and is supported by regional partner, Sanctband.

Dialling up the intensity from last year, 2018 participants will compete in an all new 4-minute circuit challenge – Over and Under (Hurdle), Deadball Squats, Kettlebell Farmer Walks and Bear Crawls – that will test their strength, endurance and power.

Each competitor will be scored based on the maximum number of correct repetitions they can achieve within 60 seconds. The Top 3 male and female athletes in each category will receive a limited-edition Test of Will 2018 medal.

Three age categories are now introduced:
• 18 – 34 years old
• 35 – 44 years old
• 45 years old and above

This year’s Malaysia Test of Will champions (male and female) who achieve the highest overall score will walk away with a cash prize of MYR3,888 each.

Overall male and female winners of Test of Will 2017, Michael Mogard and Jemima Djatmiko, shared the following advice for this year’s challengers:

“If you’re in it to win it, your routine needs to be intense and specific, from your workout to your diet. While the key is to go in with a plan, you don’t have to do it alone. When I faced tough challenges last year, members of my gym helped keep me going,” said Mogard, three-time winner of a major fitness challenge in Asia and Fitness coach.

“Most important of all is your determination to push yourself. As I was competing in the finals in 2017, I was still recovering from a sprained ankle from a few weeks prior and had to strive harder to stay on top and come out strong,” said Djatmiko, Fitness coach and business owner.

The public are welcomed to visit selected Under Armour Brand Houses and selected Royal Sporting House stores to test their wills with a 1-minute challenge from 30th March onwards to 8th April.
