Get set to race and party at the 113 Malaysia-Desaru on 13th May

Returning for the fourth edition, the 113 Malaysia-Desaru 2017 will be held at Desaru on 13th May 2017 with 600 participants tackling a total of 113km of swimming, cycling and running in a triathlon.

For a change, Eventure Global Pte Ltd – the main organiser of 113 Malaysia will combine the ‘113 Triathlon’, ‘113 Sprint’, and ‘113 Mini’ categories into one day at the Lotus Desaru Beach Resort.

The 113 Triathlon will encompass 2km of swimming, 90km of cycling around Desaru, and 21km of running. Meanwhile, aspiring triathletes in the Sprint category will cover 750m of swimming, 20km of cycling, and 5km of running. The Mini category aims to inspire newbies and children to triathlon covering shorter distances of a 300m swim, 10km bike ride, and 2km run.

“We see 113 as an opportunity for like-minded people to come together during the weekend for a good experience. We truly believe that as an athlete, whether elite or age-grouper or weekend warrior; almost always they have the support from their loved ones. Hence, our focus on 113 FAMILY,” said Managing Director of Eventure Global, Andy Foo.

The 2016 edition successfully hosted close to 500 participants comprising 55% Malaysians and 45% from other 28 nationalities.

Over RM30,000 worth of prizes are to be won including trophies and medals apart from bringing home the 113 MALAYSIA title. All top 3 winners at 113 Malaysia (Desaru) will get a free slot to the113 Rockstar Philippines in November.
