Exclusive Interview: Allison Yee defends her title for third consecutive year at Powerman Malaysia

Allison Yee defended her category for the third year running at Powerman Malaysia.

Allison Yee defended her age category 20-24 Female for the third time in a row!

Since 2017, the petite powerhouse has been acing her category at Powerman Asia Duathlon Championships in Malaysia. Three months before the race, Allison sharpens up her running form and focuses on Power Training in cycling to improve her cycling.

Based in Bukit Jalil, the sterling young lass is studying Wood Science and Technology at the National Agriculture University (UPM), and will be graduating next year.

“I have a training program under Rupert Chen’s RC Coaching. It’s a good program because it will tackle my strengths and weaknesses. This year, I improved on my run and cycling, which give me a new Personal Best (PB)!” said Allison Yee.

Surprisingly, when the rest of the world is into branded high-end bicycles, Allison is using a non-branded (OEM) bicycle from China which she bought online!

“I have been using this bike for a few years. I chose my size and the colour which I wanted and they sent it to me.”

Watch out for Allison Yee as she races next at the Port Dickson Triathlon and Standard Chartered KL Marathon this year.
