CrossFit Games Open 2017 goes Live Double across the world

The year hasn’t really begun until the 2017 CrossFit Games Open are upon us! Starting Thursday, Feb. 23 (5 p.m. PT), Director of the Games Dave Castro will announce the week’s workout and then they will switch to a locations around the world to watch your favourite athlete compete LIVE.

The Open Workout 17.1 will be announced from Reebok CrossFit Louvre in Paris, France with 2013 Games champion Samantha Briggs and 2016 Games 12th-place finisher Kristin Holte facing off. Shortly after, we go live in Canada with Patrick Vellner and Brent Fikowski—2016’s third- and fourth-fittest men on Earth respectively.

The following week, Open Workout 17.2 will come to you live from Rogue Fitness Headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Fifth-fittest woman on Earth Kari Pearce will battle head-to-head against Kristi Eramo, a 2016 Games rookie who finished in eighth overall.

 

You can also watch the livestream of all five Open workout announcements on Games.CrossFit.com. There will be a pre-show, athlete throwdown, the historic Ro vs. Boz battle and the Cool Down Show.
