Come cheer on our team Malaysia Triathletes competing in the KL Sea Games 2017 this coming Monday, 21st August in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Triathlon comprises a triad of endurance disciplines – swimming, cycling and running. At the 29th SEA Games, the triathlon will start with a 1.5km swim in open water at the Putrajaya Lake, followed by a 40km cycle and a 10km run around the administrative capital.

The Malaysian contingent will be represented by Riki Shinozuka and Ryan Tan in the men’s while Irene Chong and Zoe Bowden will feature in the women’s category. Both categories will be racing the same distances, but will start at different times.
These Elite triathletes from Southeast Asia are expected to finish within 2 hours and 10 minutes, so don’t be late! Roads will be closed by 7:00am so best to get to the Water Sports Complex early by 6:30am.
