Be a part of the first-ever Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium

Avid amateur cyclists can now be a part of Singapore sporting history, by signing up for the  Tour de France Prudential Singapore Amateur Criterium and other community rides.  

The Tour de France Prudential Singapore Amateur Criterium will be contested on a 3.1km city route that starts and finishes at The Float @ Marina Bay on Sunday, 30 October 2022 – the  same day as the professional race.

Two categories are available for sign-up: the 24.8km Men’s  Seniors race for riders aged 19 to 34 years old; and the 18.6km Men’s Master race for those  aged 35 and above. The route will take riders past iconic Singapore landmarks including the  Esplanade and the Merlion. Visit www.singaporecriterium.com for more details of the route (subject to change). 

For a registration fee of just $220, participants will receive entitlements worth nearly $300: a  two-day pass to the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium and an event jersey. Race  requirements apply. Visit https://singaporecriterium.com/amateur-criterium/ for more  information. 

Cycling enthusiasts can also be a part of the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium  through joining either the Brompton World Championship, PRURIDE Seeker’s Society, or The  Absolute Cycle Race. Registration details for each of these races are available below. 

Brompton World Championship 

Brompton, the London-based manufacturer of the iconic folding bicycle, is bringing its well loved Brompton World Championship (BWC) to Singapore for the first time. The race will have a total capacity of 450 participants across 3 categories of Male, Female and Veteran. BWC will  also include a Community Ride with a capacity of 400 participants. Race participants stand  the chance to win medals in each category of the races.  

The ballot for participation in the BWC is now closed. Successful participants will be informed  via email with a link to the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium ticketing platform  for registration. This applies to both the category races and community ride. 

The Absolute Cycle Race 

Race on a spin bike and clock the furthest distance within 10 minutes to be crowned the  Absolute champion. This unique and exciting challenge is open to everyone aged 18 and  above. All participants must download the Motosumo App via Apple Store or Google Play. 

Riders will race for 10 minutes in the heats on Saturday, 29 October, with 20 men and 20  women qualifying for the semi-finals on Sunday, 30 October, based on their distance covered.  The top 10 in the men’s and women’s semi-finals will reach the finals to be held on Sunday as  well. The top 3 male and female finishers will walk away with attractive prizes. Book your bike here
