China’s Ji Duo and Lin Chen Crowned Champions of Doi Inthanon Thailand by UTMB® 2023

In an exhilarating display of trail running prowess, Chinese athlete Ji Duo emerged victorious at the Doi Inthanon Thailand by UTMB 2023, crossing the finish line in an astonishing time of 23 hours, 58 minutes, and 49 seconds. The demanding course proved no match for Duo’s skill and endurance, establishing a substantial lead over his competitors.

Securing a hard-earned second place, Lithuanian contender Gendiminas Grinius completed the challenging race in 25 hours, 25 minutes, and 58 seconds, demonstrating resilience amidst the demanding terrain. French athlete Beñat Marsolle claimed the third position, concluding the arduous course in 25 hours, 44 minutes, and 03 seconds.

In the women’s category, the spotlight was on Lin Chen, the Chinese representative of Adidas Terrex, who conquered the challenging course in 30 hours, 05 minutes, and 15 seconds. Chen’s outstanding performance highlighted her exceptional skill and determination, securing her the top spot on the podium. Following closely, compatriot Anna Li secured a commendable second place, finishing a mere six minutes behind the leader. Yuanyuan Wu secured the third position with a noteworthy time of 30 hours, 54 minutes, and 25 seconds.

The Doi Inthanon Thailand by UTMB 2023 lived up to its reputation as one of the most demanding trail running events globally, attracting elite athletes from diverse backgrounds. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Chiang Mai, Thailand, runners navigated challenging terrains, pushing the boundaries of human endurance.
