Ryan Tan debuts for Malaysia in Triathlon at KL Sea Games 2017

Family has always been the driving force for Ryan Tan Qai Shen who will be making his debut, representing Malaysia in Triathlon at the KL Sea Games 2017 this August.

“My family is my driving force for anything I do in life – they are always there for me” said budding national Triathlete, Ryan Tan.

The 18-year-old hailing from Subang Jaya in Selangor will compete in the Triathlon which features a 1.5km swim in open water, followed by 40km of cycling, and then finishing off with a 10km run. He started cycling as a seven year old and was a state swimmer for Selangor when he was in school.
