On 2 August 2025, that familiar sense of fun and excitement gets a mega-sized upgrade at Monopoly Run Malaysia 2025, where the streets of City of Elmina, Shah Alam, will transform into a real-world Monopoly course you can run, walk, or stroll through.

Officially licensed by Hasbro and organised by Fenix Nuvo and Muse Group Asia, this is more than just a themed run. It’s a fully immersive event designed to bring Monopoly to life for people of all ages — whether you’re a casual walker or a seasoned runner.

The run offers three categories to choose from: a 2KM Kids Dash for children aged 12 and under (with kids below 4 joining for free with a guardian), a 5KM Fun Run for relaxed runners and families, and a 10KM Competitive run for those looking for a bit more challenge. Whether you’re pushing a pram, racing with your teen, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something here for everyone.

Participants will receive a bright yellow “Go Big or Go Broke” race tee, a themed finisher’s medal, towel, bib, and even a Monopoly RM500 note as part of the race kit. Along the route, you’ll find checkpoints inspired by the game’s iconic board — complete with colourful visuals and fun photo opportunities that bring the world of Monopoly to life.

The event also coincides with the first anniversary of Elmina Lakeside Mall, creating a lively atmosphere around the race village. Expect sponsor booths, giveaways, refreshments, and maybe even a surprise appearance by Mr. Monopoly himself.
