
A National Geographic-featured adventurer, public speaker and author of the book Rising Son: A Father and Son’s Bike Adventure Across Japan, Charles Scott gives keynotes and workshops encouraging people to challenge perceived limits. He ran his first marathon at age 13 and has completed six Ironman triathlons. He and his children have cycled more than 7,000 miles, including the length of Japan, the circumference of Iceland, across Western Europe, and even over the Rocky Mountains while following the Lewis & Clark Trail in the United States. Charles is also a guide to disabled athletes, and in October 2014, led Dan Berlin in his successful attempt to become the first blind runner to cross the Grand Canyon and back nonstop.
