Casio Pro Trek announces partnership with family adventure guy Charles Scott
A National Geographic-featured adventurer, public speaker and author of the book Rising Son: A Father and Son’s Bike Adventure Across Japan, Charles Scott gives keynotes and workshops encouraging people to challenge perceived limits. He ran his first marathon at age 13 and has completed six Ironman triathlons. He takes his two young children on endurance challenges linked to charitable causes and has been featured in media around the world. He and his children have cycled more than 7,000 miles, including the length of Japan, the circumference of Iceland, across Western Europe, and even over the Rocky Mountains while following the Lewis & Clark Trail in the United States. Charles is also a guide to disabled athletes, and in October 2014, led Dan Berlin in his successful attempt to become the first blind runner to cross the Grand Canyon and back nonstop.
“We are thrilled that Charles Scott will be representing Casio’s PRO TREK brand,” said David Johnson, vice president of Casio’s Timepiece division. “Scott’s confidence, passion and diverse expertise as an endurance athlete make him a perfect partner for our PRO TREK series.”
