Asia Trail Master Championship 2023 Final: Trail Fury Unleashed at Siksorogo Lawu Ultra

Brace yourselves for the ultimate showdown as the Asia Trail Master Championship 2023 reaches its climax at the spectacular Siksorogo Lawu Ultra in Central Java, Indonesia, on 2 and 3 December. Elite runners are gearing up to conquer the challenging trails of Gunung Lawu, promising a trail-running spectacle like no other.

Nestled in the Karanganyar region, near Solo and Yogyakarta, Siksorogo Lawu Ultra, expertly managed by trail running maestros Rachmat Septiyanto, Furqoni Syabana, and Agus Wibisono, guarantees an extraordinary event. Last year’s success, hosting 3,000 participants, sets the stage for another trail-blazing edition.

The epicenter is the 77 km race course, featuring the formidable Gunung Lawu with a summit at 3265 meters. A 5,000 hm elevation gain adds to the challenge, ensuring an adrenaline-packed experience. Starting at 5 am from Sekipan campground, the race offers a thrilling journey through Javanese history and culture.

Qualifying runners, the top five male and female from each Asian country, receive VIP treatment with free entry, accommodation, and airport shuttle. The top 10 finishers, along with the Best Country Team, will be celebrated during the podium ceremony.

Reigning champions Arnie Macaneras and Hau Ha are ready for a fierce battle. This weekend, witness the condensed excitement, untamed spirit, and legends in the making at Siksorogo Lawu Ultra—a trail running extravaganza in the heart of Indonesia.
