adidas and Spanish FF presents new Home Kit for UEFA EURO 2016™

SpainFootballKit2016-2

The new kit of the Spanish National Team for UEFA EURO 2016 was revealed at a spectacular event joined by the entire squad of the defending champions. This great event began with fifty youths competing in a 3-on-3 tournament demonstrating who had control over the game.

After the game commenced, the entire squad launched the new kit, with its vintage design of traditional red portraying the team’s roots and culture. As a tribute to the growing trend of urban and street football among youths, the new kit is designed was presented during a provocative lights-and-mapping game, which is reflected on the kit.

This new kit carries a classic design bringing back the blue shorts and black socks. The triangle is the key motive of the jersey, and it characterises the previous successes of the National Team. The ‘triangle’ game technique that has managed to dominate world-class football will be shown not only on the pitch but on the jersey as well. Therefore, the triangles are a decisive element in the jersey that becomes part of its material. For the first time, the adidas three stripes will not be on the sleeves, but would run along either sides of the jersey in vibrant yellow. The jersey in traditional red is finished with yellow and blue details.
