Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) announced their latest “by UTMB” event set to take place from October 30 to November 1.
Thailand by UTMB is the fifth race to be awarded with the Running Stones system following other UTMB International races in Oman, Val D’aran in Spain, Panda Trail in Sichuan and Gaologing in Yunnan, China.
Thailand by UTMB will have four distance categories: 25km, 80km, 120km and 175km. The races will take place at Thailand’s highest mountain, Doi Inthanon in Chiangmai. Registration will open on March 10.
Two weeks ago, the organiser did a trial, labelling it as “zero edition”. Participants from that race will get slots to run for the first edition.
