Superheroes decided to abstain from saving the world for a day, and help to save lives by raising money for the Pinky Swear Foundation, a non-profit supporting families of children with cancer.
“It is such a privilege to be able to do this today. We had about 60 tickets sold. That’s 60 people that decided to donate to a super awesome cause,” Emanuel said.
“A great cause. Super touching the Pinky Swear Foundation and I’m just honored,” Pat Tait with Crossfit 952 said.
CrossFit athletes dressed up to sweat at the at Crossfit 952 in Bloomington, Indiana in the USA. $1,000 was raised for the Pinky Swear Foundation. The inaugural event attracted Captain America, Iron Man, The Viking and others who will likely join forces again next year.
“To be able to come together as a crew, as a gym. As just people that want to work out and help people is just great,” Lauren McHenry with Crossfit 952 said.
