The first go-anywhere, do-anything, instant-access mobile phone clip
IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Today the creators of Pinn, a first-of-its-kind mobile Bluetooth device with OLED display, announces its coming-to-market plans and Kickstarter launch. Pinn combines the key features of a user’s mobile phone into a single, go-anywhere clip- allowing users to know who’s calling, answer instantly and even play music when their cell phone is tucked away in a purse, pocket or even in the next room.
Pinn Founder, Sean Kim, has worked as an intellectual property and business development consultant for the past five years and has facilitated in the success of numerous technology startups. While consulting, Kim remained steadfast in his vision of being a master creator himself. Now Kim’s own innovation, Pinn, is expected to be available in market this October, with its Kickstarter campaign launching on August 10th, 2016.
“My vision to develop wearable technology that enhanced the smartphone experience began after noticing my wife digging through her purse for her cell phone to see who was calling before answering it through her Bluetooth,” said Kim. “Pinn, our first generation three-way communication product, empowers consumers to maximize their smartphone experience in a light, multi-functional and accessible Bluetooth clip device.”
Compatible with both Android and iOS, Pinn users can make a call or reply to text by activating voice commands using Siri or Google Now, see who’s calling, charge on the go and customize preferred settings. In addition, users are able to control and listen to their favorite music streamed directly from their mobile device through the Pinn earbud or the speaker. Users can also plug their favorite headset directly into the Pinn device to listen to music or take calls. For the ‘selfie’ fanatic, Pinn features a remote control selfie clicker, making it easier to snap the perfect photo without awkwardly reaching for the mobile camera button.
Perfect for the active fitness enthusiast, the on-the-go business executive, daily commuters, or the mother with her hands full, the device securely clips to virtually anything, including clothing, purse straps and backpacks.
Currently, the project is funded by private investors. Through the Kickstarter campaign, Pinn seeks to raise funds to begin mass production for an expedited October market launch.
