A gas cylinder exploded at 5:30am, minutes before the flag-off of the Solapur International Marathon’s half marathon category last Sunday, 5 January 2020. Two teenage volunteers, a women and a worker sustained serious injuries from the explosion.
According to indianexpress.com, the race had 5,000 local and foreign participants, and was postponed to a later time.
