Every runner in Kuala Lumpur has been nursing itchy feet and their shoes have been yearning to take to the streets of the Golden Triangle again. Since the COVID-19 pandemic struck out the live marathon this year, the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon 2020 will close the year with its inaugural virtual run (KLSCM 2020 VR) over 5 and 6 December 2020.

Open to runners of all levels from beginners to advanced veterans, you will have a variety of distances to choose from. Together with Title Sponsor Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia, the KLSCM 2020 VR will feature the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km. Furthermore, you can choose to call up some friends to form a team of 3 if you find running this virtual run individually a tad boring.

Additionally, you will be able to track your run through the exclusive GPS-based Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon Virtual Run App. Live up the excitement of racing through individual and team leaderboard rankings and an augmented reality face filter.

We know you will be missing the camaraderie and the cheers on the finishing line. However, hardcore fans of KLSCM are in for a treat, as you will be able to include this virtual race into your KLSCM participation history.
