Chocolate Orange Smoothie

The weekend is almost here and everyone loves a good excuse to have chocolate.

Oranges are a citrus fruit that is high in vitamins, particularly vitamin C. There are two types of oranges: ‘bitter’ and ‘sweet’. The sweet orange, which is what is typically eaten today, originated in Asia, but are now grown throughout the world.

Ingredients

  • 1 orange, peeled
  • ½ banana, frozen
  • 3 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
