Carey Island in Selangor beckons you on a new duathlon event with the KM75 Duathlon 2020 on 28 June.
While the KM75 category is the highlight, there is also the Sprint 40 category that is beginner (and pocket) friendly.
Organiser Expedivo Events aims to provide a safe and exciting duathlon race at very affordable prices for both the KM75 and Sprint 40 categories. The race will be held at the Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort on Carey Island where participants get to experience the idyllic island and ‘kampung’ feel by running on trail path, while the bike course is flat and straight through oil palm estates.
The KM75 category will start with a 10km Run followed by a 60km Bike and finishes with a 5km Run. Meanwhile, the Sprint 40 category shortens the distance to almost half, with a 5km Run >> 30km Bike >> 5km Run to encourage newbies to give duathlon a try.
Both categories are open to everyone aged 18 years and above. If participants unable to complete the whole duathlon themselves, they can opt to register with a relay team instead.
