In 2016, the IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship was held in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia; 2015 in Zell am See-Kaprun, Austria; and in 2014, Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada.

Chattanooga is 1 of 5 cities in North America to host a full-distance IRONMAN® and an IRONMAN®70.3®; 1 of 10 cities in the world to host a full-distance IRONMAN® and an IRONMAN® 70.3®.

Chattanooga is also the ONLY city on the planet to host a full-distance IRONMAN®, an IRONMAN® 70.3®, and the IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship.

DETAILS: 
The community is invited to attend the Made In Tennessee Celebration, the Parade of Nations, and to cheer on the athletes as they take on the challenging course. These events are free and open to the public. The “Late For The Train” 5K Fun Run and IRONKIDS® events are also open for the community to register and participate in.

All events will take place between 3rd Street and the downtown riverfront along the Tennessee River and adjacent to the Tennessee Aquarium.
